Ingredients:
- 10 fresh mint leaves
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
- 2 ounces white rum
- 1 ounce coconut rum
- 2 tablespoons canned coconut milk
- 3 ounces club soda
- 1 tablespoon fresh pomegranate seeds
- 1 fresh mint sprig
Instructions:
- In the bottom of a sturdy glass or cocktail shaker, combine the fresh mint leaves, sugar, and lime juice. Use a muddler to press down and twist gently 5–6 times to release aromatic oils without shredding the leaves.
- Add the white rum, coconut rum, and coconut milk to the shaker. Fill the shaker halfway with ice and shake vigorously for 15 seconds until the exterior is frosted and the coconut milk is emulsified.
- Fill a serving glass with fresh crushed ice. Strain the mixture into the glass and slowly top with club soda to create a marbled snowy effect.
- Top the cocktail with a spoonful of pomegranate seeds and a fresh mint sprig to resemble holly berries and leaves.
