Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 fl oz High Quality Peach Schnapps
  • 4 fl oz Freshly Squeezed Orange Juice (chilled)
  • Sufficient amount Ice
  • 1 Orange Slice or Wheel (for garnish)
  • 1 Maraschino Cherry (optional garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Preparation: Slice one orange wheel or wedge for garnish. Place a highball or Collins glass into the freezer to chill for at least 5 minutes.
  2. Add Ice: Remove the chilled glass and fill it nearly to the brim with fresh, clear ice cubes.
  3. Measure Spirits: Precisely measure 1 1/2 fl oz of Peach Schnapps using a jigger and pour it directly over the ice.
  4. Add Juice: Gently pour the 4 fl oz (120 ml) of chilled, fresh orange juice into the glass.
  5. The Gentle Stir: Using a bar spoon, stir the drink briefly (3 to 4 turns) to combine ingredients without over-agitating or overly diluting the cocktail.
  6. Garnish and Serve: Place the orange wheel on the rim of the glass or drop a maraschino cherry to the bottom. Serve immediately while ice cold.
