Ingredients:

  • 450 g refrigerated biscuits
  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 0.5 lb ground beef
  • 1.5 cups premium pizza sauce
  • 0.5 cup sliced pepperoni
  • 2 cups shredded low-moisture mozzarella cheese
  • 0.25 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (356°F). Using a pizza cutter, slice each refrigerated biscuit into 4 to 6 even pieces to create uniform dough nuggets.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the dough pieces, pizza sauce, and the browned and drained ground beef. Toss gently with a spatula until every piece of dough is evenly coated in sauce.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a 9x13-inch ceramic or glass baking dish, spreading it into an even layer.
  4. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with dried oregano, garlic powder, shredded mozzarella, and grated parmesan. Arrange the halved pepperoni slices across the top.
  5. Bake for 25 minutes until the biscuits have risen and the cheese is golden brown and bubbly.
