Ingredients:

  • 4 tbsp Chili Powder
  • 2 tbsp Ground Cumin
  • 1 tbsp Smoked Paprika
  • 1 tsp Crushed Red Pepper Flakes
  • 1 tbsp Sea Salt
  • 1 tbsp Black Pepper
  • 1 tbsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tbsp Onion Powder
  • 1 tsp Dried Oregano
  • 1 tbsp Cornstarch

Instructions:

  1. In a small mixing bowl, combine the chili powder, ground cumin, smoked paprika, crushed red pepper flakes, sea salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, dried oregano, and cornstarch.
  2. Whisk the ingredients vigorously for 30 seconds until the mixture is a uniform mahogany color with no visible streaks of white cornstarch or clumps of spices.
  3. Transfer the mix to an airtight glass jar. Label with the date and usage instructions: use 2 to 3 tablespoons per 1 lb (500g) of meat.
