Ingredients:

  • 1 lb Bulk Pork Sausage (Hot or Breakfast style)
  • 8 oz Sharp Cheddar Cheese, freshly grated
  • 4 oz Cream Cheese, softened to room temperature
  • 2 cups Bisquick baking mix
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Smoked Paprika
  • 1/4 cup Green Onions, finely minced

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line two large baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone mats to prevent sticking and ensure caramelization.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the raw sausage and softened cream cheese. Use a hand mixer or stiff spatula to blend until completely homogeneous with no white streaks.
  3. Fold in the freshly grated cheddar cheese, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and minced green onions.
  4. Gradually add the Bisquick to the meat mixture. Use your hands to knead the dough just until the dry ingredients are fully incorporated, being careful not to overwork the meat.
  5. Scoop rounded tablespoons of the mixture and roll into 1-inch spheres. Place them 1 inch apart on the prepared baking sheets.
  6. Bake for 20–24 minutes until the bottoms are mahogany-colored and the tops are firm and lightly bronzed.
