Ingredients:
- 1 lb Bulk Pork Sausage (Hot or Breakfast style)
- 8 oz Sharp Cheddar Cheese, freshly grated
- 4 oz Cream Cheese, softened to room temperature
- 2 cups Bisquick baking mix
- 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1/2 tsp Smoked Paprika
- 1/4 cup Green Onions, finely minced
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line two large baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone mats to prevent sticking and ensure caramelization.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the raw sausage and softened cream cheese. Use a hand mixer or stiff spatula to blend until completely homogeneous with no white streaks.
- Fold in the freshly grated cheddar cheese, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and minced green onions.
- Gradually add the Bisquick to the meat mixture. Use your hands to knead the dough just until the dry ingredients are fully incorporated, being careful not to overwork the meat.
- Scoop rounded tablespoons of the mixture and roll into 1-inch spheres. Place them 1 inch apart on the prepared baking sheets.
- Bake for 20–24 minutes until the bottoms are mahogany-colored and the tops are firm and lightly bronzed.
