Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Plain Greek Yogurt (Full fat, unsweetened)
  • 2 large Ripe Bananas, peeled (approx. 200 g)
  • 1/4 cup Natural Peanut Butter (CRUCIAL: Must be Xylitol-free)
  • 2 Tbsp 100% Pumpkin Purée (optional, not pie filling)
  • Small Dog Biscuits (optional garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Prep the Banana: Peel the bananas and roughly chop them into 1-inch (2.5 cm) pieces.
  2. Combine Wet Ingredients: Place the yogurt, chopped bananas, natural peanut butter, and pumpkin purée (if using) into the bowl of your blender or food processor.
  3. Blend Until Silky: Secure the lid and blend on high speed. Scrape down the sides if needed. Blend continuously for 1–2 minutes until the mixture is completely smooth and homogeneous. There should be no chunks of banana remaining.
  4. Portion the Mixture: Carefully pour the 'nice cream' mixture into your chosen silicone molds, filling each compartment nearly to the top.
  5. Add Garnish (Optional): If desired, sprinkle a few crumbs of dog biscuit or a small dollop of extra peanut butter on top of each portion.
  6. Freeze Solid: Place the molds in the freezer on a level surface. Freeze for a minimum of 4–6 hours, or until the treats are rock hard.
  7. Store: Once frozen, pop the treats out of the silicone molds and transfer them to a freezer-safe, airtight container or Ziploc bag for long-term storage (up to 3 months).
