Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 3/4 cup whole milk

Instructions:

  1. Place the unsalted butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Melt it slowly until fully liquid but not bubbling.
  2. Remove from heat and let the butter cool for 1–2 minutes until warm but not scalding.
  3. Pour the milk into a blender or deep bowl. Slowly drizzle the melted butter into the milk while whisking or blending on low.
  4. Process the mixture for 30–60 seconds until the liquid is a uniform, creamy, pale-ivory color.
  5. Place the mixture in the refrigerator for 5 minutes to stabilize the fat molecules before using in recipes.
