Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup (115g) High-quality Mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup (120g) Full-fat Sour Cream
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) Real Buttermilk
  • 1 tbsp Fresh Chives, finely minced
  • 1 tbsp Fresh Italian Parsley, finely minced
  • 1 tsp Fresh Dill, finely minced
  • 1 clove Garlic, grated into a paste
  • 1 tsp Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 1/2 tsp Distilled White Vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Fine Sea Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Cracked Black Pepper
  • 1 pinch Smoked Paprika

Instructions:

  1. Prep the garlic. Grate the clove on a microplane until it becomes a wet paste. Note: This releases the most juice for flavor.
  2. Combine the fats. Whisk the mayonnaise and sour cream in a medium bowl until no lumps remain.
  3. Stream in buttermilk. Gradually add the buttermilk while whisking until the mixture is smooth and uniform.
  4. Prepare the herbs. Finely mince the chives, parsley, and dill.
  5. Add aromatics. Fold the fresh herbs and garlic paste into the creamy base.
  6. Season the mix. Stir in the onion powder, sea salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika until the color is consistent.
  7. Incorporate acids. Add the lemon juice and white vinegar. Note: This will slightly thicken the dressing immediately.
  8. Cold cure. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for 30 minutes until the flavors have melded and brightened.
  9. Final check. Give it one last stir before serving to redistribute any herbs that settled.
