Ingredients:

  • 5 fl oz Malibu Coconut Liqueur (45 ml)
  • 3 fl oz chilled Pineapple Juice (90 ml)
  • 5 fl oz Cranberry Juice (45 ml, unsweetened or light)
  • Ice cubes (to fill glass)
  • 1 slice Fresh lime wheel or pineapple wedge, for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Glass: Fill a chilled highball or Collins glass completely with fresh, solid ice cubes.
  2. Add the Spirit: Carefully measure and pour the 1.5 fl oz (45 ml) of Malibu Coconut Liqueur over the ice.
  3. Introduce the Pineapple: Measure and pour the 3 fl oz (90 ml) of chilled Pineapple Juice into the glass. This forms the primary base mixer.
  4. The Breeze Layer (Cranberry Float): Slowly pour the 1.5 fl oz (45 ml) of Cranberry Juice over the top of the cocktail, ideally over the back of a spoon to create a beautiful gradient layer (the breeze effect).
  5. Garnish and Serve: Add the lime wheel or pineapple wedge to the rim. Serve immediately with a straw. Do not stir before serving, allowing the drinker to mix the layers as they enjoy the cocktail.
