Ingredients:

  • 3 cups (540g) semi-sweet chocolate chips (at least 60% cacao)
  • 1 can (14 oz / 397g) sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 tbsp (28g) unsalted butter, cubed at room temperature
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp fine sea salt
  • 1/2 cup festive red and green sprinkles
  • 1/4 cup white chocolate melts

Instructions:

  1. Line an 8x8 inch pan with parchment paper, leaving an inch of overhang on all sides to create a sling for easy removal.
  2. In a heavy-bottomed saucepan or large microwave-safe glass bowl, combine the chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and cubed butter.
  3. Heat using a low-impact method. If using a microwave, heat in 30-second intervals, stirring vigorously between each, until the mixture is 90% melted. Let the residual heat finish the melting process to avoid separating the cocoa butter.
  4. Once the mixture is glossy and uniform, remove from heat and fold in the vanilla extract and fine sea salt.
  5. Pour the warm fudge into the prepared pan. Use an offset spatula to smooth the top and tap the pan firmly on the counter to release air bubbles.
  6. Top with festive sprinkles and drizzle with melted white chocolate if desired. Chill for at least 3 hours before slicing into 36 squares.
