  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 0.5 tsp freshly cracked black pepper
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 0.5 tsp dried oregano
  • 0.25 tsp cayenne pepper

Instructions:

  1. Remove the chicken from the packaging and pat it thoroughly dry with paper towels to ensure maximum crunch.
  2. In a large bowl, toss the chicken with olive oil until evenly coated. Sprinkle the salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, and cayenne over the meat, ensuring every crevice is covered.
  3. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3-5 minutes.
  4. Place the chicken in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring pieces do not touch to allow air circulation.
  5. Cook the chicken, flipping halfway through. For thighs, cook for 18–22 minutes. For boneless breasts, cook for 12–15 minutes.
  6. Use an instant-read thermometer to ensure the internal temperature has reached 165°F (74°C).
  7. Remove the chicken and let it rest on a cutting board for 5 minutes before slicing to allow juices to redistribute.
