Ingredients:

  • 2 fl oz High-Quality Vodka
  • ¾ fl oz Premium Orange Liqueur (Cointreau or Triple Sec)
  • ¾ fl oz Fresh Lime Juice
  • Large, fresh ice cubes (for shaking)
  • 1 Fresh lime wheel or wedge (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Glassware: Place your martini glass or coupe into the freezer for at least 5 minutes, or fill it with ice water while preparing the cocktail. Measure out all liquid ingredients precisely.
  2. Combine Ingredients: Add the measured Vodka, Orange Liqueur (Triple Sec/Cointreau), and fresh Lime Juice directly into the cocktail shaker tin. Fill the shaker two-thirds full with large, fresh ice cubes.
  3. Shake Vigorously: Secure the lid firmly and shake the mixture very hard for about 15–20 seconds until the outside of the shaker tin is thoroughly frosted (perfectly chilled).
  4. Strain and Serve: Discard any chilling ice or water from the glass. Double-strain the cocktail into the prepared, chilled glass using both a Hawthorne strainer and a fine-mesh sieve to achieve a pristine, smooth texture.
  5. Garnish: Affix a fresh lime wheel or wedge to the rim of the glass and serve immediately.
