Instructions:

  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the mashed banana, large egg, honey, and milk until smooth.
  3. Fold in the rolled oats and slivered almonds. Mix thoroughly until the dry ingredients are fully hydrated and the mixture forms a cohesive dough.
  4. Scoop the mixture (about 1.5 tablespoons per bite) onto the prepared baking sheet. This recipe yields approximately 16–20 bites.
  5. Bake for 40 minutes, or until the bites are golden brown around the edges and set in the center. Let cool slightly before serving.
